Harbour View FC captain and national striker Fabian Taylor signed an initial one-year loan agreement with Notodden FC of Norway, at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, yesterday.

Taylor completed the deal with Notodden FC general manager Per Arne Hansen, who has been in the island since Monday. Hansen came to the island as a guest of Harbour View FC to finalise the deal and to support his Notodden player, Oniel 'Bigga' Thompson in the Reggae Boyz game against Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday.

The Notodden general manager had a busy week. He first attended Harbour View's 5-0 winning double-header at home on Tuesday. They first beat Port Royal FC 5-0 in the KSAFA Under-20 competition then in the COK Champions Cup they clipped Arnett Gardens FC 2-1.

On Wednesday, in addition to watching the Reggae Boyz, he attended Coca-Cola Under 21 training session at Harbour View before touring the football grounds of Arnett Gardens, Boys' Town, Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United. He left the island yesterday with Taylor. Taylor has scored nine goals for the national team and recently captained Harbour View in the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals against DC United, after winning the Caribbean Club Championships, Western Union Jackie Bell Knockout and the Locker Room Sports KSAFA pre-season President's Cup.

He was the Cash Plus Premier League leading goalscorer with 12 goals in January before he got injured and was forced into a six-week layoff.

The Norwegian registration has to be completed by Monday, March 31, in Norway to allow him to play.
