Ricardo Handy appeared once again in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court, along with the "Motorola phone with camera" which he was ordered to return to his ex-girlfriend.
Handy seemingly capitalised on the advice of RM Glen Brown who on Wednesday said "Digicel having a sale now, up to 70 per cent off."
Handy who was charged with larceny was obviously upset when he left the courtroom on Wednesday, was all smiles when he entered the dock Friday.
The court was told that Handy and the complainant were in a relationship but broke up. He reportedly went to the complainants home and stole her cellphone.
"Because of what was going on, I was driving around and I saw someone and I gave it away," Handy told RM Brown who asked about the phone.
According to him, he and the complainant had been together for five years and she just ended things without giving any explanation.
When asked yesterday if everything was okay on Friday, Handy replied "I've gotten over everything your honour."
He then handed the cellphone to the complainant who then told RM Brown that she was satisfied before they both left the courtroom.
