Will women remain faithful?

We're back! THE STAR poll is here once again and dare we say, better than ever. We hit the streets with the juiciest questions about sex, obeah, music, religion and much more and now we're ready to give you the results. Prepare to be shocked and amused like never before.

Last time around, we asked persons what percentage of men who say they will remain faithful, do they believe actually stay true to their word. The results were quite intriguing, so this time we decided to ask:

What percentage of the women in Jamaica who tell men they will remain faithful will actually remain faithful?

Here are the results :

Mean - 29%

Median - 20%

The average percentage given by the respondents was 29 per cent, which means that it is generally believed that women are more honest than men and will stick to their word. This is clear because in the previous poll, the respondents said an average of only 20 per cent of males, kept their word when they said they would be faithful.

Once again, just like the first poll, the female respondents believe that a large number of women are faithful while the men believe the opposite. The women polled for this question said they believed 32 per cent of women will stay faithful when they give their word, while the men said 26 per cent.

The poll was conducted on January 28-29 by Johnson Survey Research Limited

Sample size: 1008 residents
