The story about the unfortunate sexual assault on a pregnant goat is indeed shocking and disturbing.

According to the story, the goat was sexually molested, its eyes were dug out and its private parts were swollen. It is hard to fathom that someone would do such a thing to an animal and it is even harder to understand why.

The owner of a cellular phone and a bunch of keys that were found at the scene has been taken into custody and is being questioned by the police.

It is hard to understand the thought process of any person who would molest an animal. It is especially hard to understand why someone would go as far as to kill a pregnant animal in such a way.

Whoever is eventually found guilty of this heinous crime needs to be punished with the full force of the law because a strong message needs to be sent to the kind of people who harbour thoughts of engaging in sexual acts with animals.

Regardless of what anyone might say, any person who finds him or herself drawn to an animal, in an erotic way, needs psychiatric evaluation. It is simply not normal and no amount of research and possible 'scientific' explanations can change that.

Persons who are found guilty of bestiality should be punished and should be subjected to a thorough mental examination.
