Lies, 'bun' and death threats

Dear Pastor,

I was with a man for the past three years. He has cheated and lied, but I still stay with him. He was the only one working at the time. He never showed me any respect, but all that has changed. As soon I as I started working, he started to come home early and even cooks. All this happened for the first four months, then things went right back where it started; but this time, he stopped working. This went on for about a year. He put out no effort to look for a job. This made it very hard for me. I had to be paying the bills, finding food and everything else. And when I came home from work, he was in the bed on his cellphone talking to his girls. I made up my mind and moved out, but now, he's at my new home every day telling me that I have a man and he is going to kill me.

Pastor, I am so stressed out.

Dear K.W.,

If you are finished with this man and I mean really finished with him and you do not want him to come and visit you at your apartment, you should go and seek a lawyer and take out an injunction against him. You should not be afraid of him, but you should not take his threats lightly. He should be reported to the police. Your lawyer can help you deal with this man, but I repeat, do not take his threats lightly. On the other hand, you should not allow his threats to scare you so that you feel that you must take him back into your life.
