Miller gives Jamaica the edge

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC

Career-best bowling from Nikita Miller put Jamaica in the front seat in the Carib Beer Challenge Final against Trinidad & Tobago yesterday.

Miller captured five wickets for 29 runs from 18.4 overs, as T&T, sent in to bat, were dismissed for 121 in their first innings about 25 minutes before tea on the opening day of the match at Sabina Park.

Left-hander Brendan Nash then scored a purposeful, unbeaten 56 to help Jamaica recover from an early stumble, and put them within sight of a first innings lead on 107 for four when bad light stopped play three overs early.
