Dear Pastor,

I have a problem with my boyfriend. He is an American and I am a Jamaican who has a very smart mouth. The problem consists of this young man's insecurity. He is very controlling and jealous. If he calls and I don't answer, he calls me names like bitch. He is going to get me sent back to Jamaica and he even compares sex with me to his ex-girlfriend. He says sex with her is better. When I finally had enough of his abuse and told him that the relationship was over, he cried like a baby.

Tell me, pastor. What am I to do?

Put your foot down because this man does not respect you. He believes that he has a right to control you.

If he had respect for you, he wouldn't have tried to insult you by comparing you to his ex-girlfriend. I would suggest that you do not renew the friendship with this man. Don't allow his crocodile tears to break your heart.
