Marsha Campbell cops title number two

rudolph brown-Marsha Marie Campbell, Miss St . Catherine Festival Queen 2008 at the grand coronation show at the Spanish Treasure hotel ballroom, Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Sunday.

Portmore's Marsha Campbell won her second pageant within 28 days after landing the Jamaica Cultural development Commission's (JCDC)/St Catherine Co-operative Credit Union Miss St Catherine Festival Queen crown at the grand coronation show on Sunday.

Campbell won the Portmore Queen title on April 6.

Marsha was the clear favourite on the night, according to her performances in all areas and the crowd backing her with loud cheers and whistles.

Talsia Mendez, wearing the sash Jamaica Energy Partners, took the first runner-up position, while another Portmore girl, Kedeisha Williams, Miss Ken's Wildflower, who was second in the Portmore pageant, placed third.

Apart from winning the crown, Campbell walked away with two sectional prizes, including best performance and most culturally aware, while, Latoya Newell and Tomeica Dunn shared the most congenial award.

Campbell will now turn her attention to the Miss Jamaica Festival Queen pageant.
