A Rastafarian man appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday to answer to charges of cruelty to juvenile after reportedly used a tamarind switch to beat two youngsters all over their bodies .

He is Adrian Hunter of a Corporate Area address.

Allegations in the matter are the children were recently left in the care of the accused, when the beating took place.

When Resident Magistrate Glen Brown, asked Hunter if he was guilty or not, the accused man said he was not abusive to the children, but only 'scolded dem wit a tamarind stick'.
