Senior police investigators have been joined by angry residents in a manhunt for twin brothers from Long Coffee in Devon, Manchester, following the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old schoolboy and the injury of a man in the district last night.
Dead is Ricardo Morgan, a student of Christianna High School, while admitted to hospital in a stable condition is an 18-year-old labourer who was shot in the leg.
Police have since been searching for rastafarian brothers, Omar and Oniel Saunders, 34, who they believe can help in the investigations. The brothers are said to be deportees from Canada.
Police report that about 8 p.m. last night, two men, one armed with a gun and the other a machete, began chasing young people from the Long Coffee square and eventually shot Morgan and the man.
Morgan, who was shot in the chest, was pronounced dead at hospital.
The brothers have not been seen in the area since and angry residents have joined the lawmen in the search for them.
