The Montego Bay police in St James are investigating the shooting deaths of two men in Rose Heights in the parish on Tuesday night.

The dead men have been identified as Gary Allen, 30, otherwise called 'Bessy', and 45-year-old Randal Stewart, otherwise called 'Atom', both of Rose Heights addresses.

The CCN's liaison officer for St James reported that about 8:45 p.m. explosions were heard in a section of the community. The police were called and on their arrival both men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
