D'Angel interacts with fans

It was a full evening for D'Angel last Thursday when she spoke with fans via the Internet and the telephone at The Gleaner Company's North Street offices.

D'Angel interacted with fans online from all over the world for an hour before attending to her local fans on the telephone, spending another hour.

For her fans online, it was all about praising D'Angel for her work as an artiste and her encouragement to females, while some fans were still wondering how things were with Beenie, now that they were no longer together but still shared a son.

As for her fans calling on the telephone, they could hardly wait, as the phone lines were already blazing by the time D'Angel got around to answering calls.

There were many young callers, most of whom were in their teens. D'Angel even got a call from a six-year-old girl who said she admired the artiste. A four-time-caller, Mr Universe was noteworthy as he called the line with different voices and names merely to commend D'Angel for her good work and perseverance.

Overall, D'Angel said she had a wonderful time interacting with her fans.
