It seems like the Jamaicans are all pumped up to sink the Americans into oblivion. This is prime time for the Jamaican athletes to step up and showcase their talents.
The world is disgusted with the Americans who controlled sprinting from the early days with drugs and drug scandals. Thanks to Usain Bolt for having been so focused on beating the American and has done so. We are the true warriors now and we have proven it.
Tyson Gay has been the focus of the world, but now it is our homebred and raised Bolt of Trelawny. Bolt has proven to the world that we are the true sprint factory.
Exciting times
Exciting times and uncertain times lie ahead. What will Asafa do to turn it on Bolt? It will be very intriguing to say the least. The Olympics games are just around the corner, and the only way we can loose the 4x100 and 100 metres men's flat is stage fright or drug. We are not banking on that at this psychological moment because we have the upper hand.
Jamaicans like Bolt make the entire Jamaican populace proud of our little paradise in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. The question is what we are going to do to lose the sprint double? Bolt, this has been a long time coming; you shall be the champion in China.
