Dear Pastor,
I am having a relationship with a man. He is four years my junior. We even work at the same place. The thing is the relationship is just sexual and yet I feel the need to want something more because of the intense chemistry between us. He is somewhat immature, lives with his parents and is quite snobbish. He, at times, makes some snotty remarks, which are somewhat childish. My friends believe I should stop having sex with him because I am sure we don't have a future but I'm so attracted to him. I feel he doesn't want anything more than sex.
Pastor, what should I do?
S., St James, Jamaica
Dear S.,
You know very well this man only wants you for sex. You said it at the very beginning of the letter. If you know there is no future with this man, it is more sex that you are after. Evidently, he is good at it. Have you been thinking about the future or about the type of life you are living? The chemistry between you both is just for sex. If you want a stable family life and someone who will not just use you for sex, you need to end the relationship and just move on.
