Young Diamonds look to outshine Blue Mountain

Leaders Young Diamonds will take on third place Blue Mountain in the feature game of the Power Services Ltd-sponsored Manchester Division Two Football League this Saturday at Hanbury. All games have been brought forward owing to Sunday's opening World Cup campaign clash be-tween Jamaica and The Bahamas.

The competition has taken on special meaning - now being played with a provision that mandates all teams to have in their line-ups a set number of Under-17 players.

Young Diamonds have nine points from four games, their only defeat coming at the hands of Mile Gully. They featured in the most exciting game of the series so far - last weekend's 4-3 win over Royal Flat. Blue Mountain should exude confidence of their own coming off a 2-0 win over Hillview.

In other results from the last round, Mile Gully and Hillstars ended 1-1 the same as Flava and Los Perfectos.

Other games on this weekend are: Royal Flat vs Hillstars; Knockpatrick vs Flava and Los Perfectos vs Hope Village.
