Dear Pastor,
I am 24 years old and have been living with my boyfriend since I was 18. I have my 13-year-old niece living here also and he has his eight-year-old nephew. The nephew was living here before with his mother, but his mother has now migrated and the child is staying with my boyfriend who is the uncle.
Pastor, we have been together since I was 18 and I told him that I will not have a baby for him unless he gets married to me. I was a Christian and he also. I would like to go back into my church, but I can't unless I am married because we still have sex. I have nowhere else to go especially now that I have my niece with me. I would like to know also if you would be kind enough to give me the address and number for a counsellor because everyday we argue. I really believe I love him with all my heart and I want this relationship to work. I would also like to do the right thing by getting married to him as soon as possible because I hate the life that I am living now.
He is 27 years old and really wants a child from me. However, I am unable to fulfil that request until I am married. I want to do the right thing for my children and set a good example. Thank you, sir.

Dear K.J.,
Perhaps this guy wants you to get pregnant before he marries you as proof that you can have children, but I like the position you have taken. If you are good enough for him to be living with and having sex, you are good enough to be his wife. You may call Family Life Ministries and ask them to meet with you for counselling.
