Anthony Grant, more popularly known as 'Hurricane', describes himself as a young and very talented artiste.
Grant, who has been in the music business since 2000, says, "Mi a do music long time now, but about 2003, mi get push back in the business by a friend name Norshous. A him tell mi say fi do it back 'cause mi have one of the maddest flow," he said.

Grant says despite one of his main interests being dancehall music, he is also gifted in other areas of music.
"Mi can do all type a genre of music, but yuh see right now, a jus' complex music mi a deal wid, which is dancehall," he told THE STAR.
Grant says he admires and respects a lot of artistes and hopes to one day get the chance to work with them.
"Mi look up to Beenie Man, 'cause he is a overcomer. Dem man deh step over the obstacles like is nothing. Mi also respect man like Aidonia and Kartel fi dem lyrics," he said.
Over the years, Hurricane says he has recorded at least 10 singles, his first, which is titled Kris Again in 2004, was never released. He has also recorded Yardy Dance, Doggy Style, Wrongdoers and Fling Up Di Clump,among others.
Grant has also performed on a number of shows, which include Funfest in March, Hype TV's Battle of the Unmature and several shows overseas. He was also a contestant on the Magnum Kings and Queens show last year.
tough challenges
Grant, like many young artistes, says since entering the business, he has been faced with many challenges and obstacles, the main ones being that, "radio disc jockeys nuh wah play yuh tunes and producer won't voice yuh, 'cause yuh name nuh big yet".
Grant says his intentions are to continue working and doing good music, as he is currently working with producer Timo Fras, Guerrilla Music Production and Rob Dem Recordz. His new single titled Fling Up Di Clump will also be released soon.
