An accountant accused of illegal possession of ammunition was granted bail when she appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
Keeva Miller, a junior accountant, was granted $10,000 bail when the matter was mentioned. Allegations are that a raid was conducted at a premises where Miller lives. Her room was searched and a .25 round was found in a dresser drawer in the room.
Her attorney told the court that several persons had access to the premises where she lives and and that she and a man were taken into custody last Wednesday when the search was done. However, only she was charged while the man was released.
The court also heard that during the question and answer, the accused said she did not know where the bullet came from. The court was also told that she also said she saw the bullet prior to the discovery but she did not know if it had been used.
Her attorney then asked for bail noting that she met all the requirements. The Crown had no opposition and so she was granted bail.
