A mother in need

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Good day. I am a young, single parent with five children, four of whom are going to school, and I am not working. I find it so hard to send them to school. I have a lot of problems; sometimes my pressure goes up and at times it gets low. I just can't bear to see my children suffer. I am asking if anyone can help me with back-to-school things like bags, shoes or school clothes.

I am living with my parents, but there are 19 of us living under the same roof. It is not easy. I have two sons suffering from night blindness. I got their eyes tested three years ago and the cost for their glasses was $14,000 and I can't find the money. Please help me. There is a little saying: The child of today is the man of tomorrow. If anyone understands what it is to raise children without a father or a job, please contact me at 409-3825.

I am, etc.,

J.T.
