Three men accused of robbing two women of their cellphones and other accessories appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Friday.
Charged with robbery with aggravation are Donovan Lewis, David Douglas and Damion James, who did not appear at the court hearing.
Allegations in the matter are that the two women were walking along a road when a vehicle stopped and one man alighted from the vehicle and robbed the women of their phones and other items.
However, the resident magistrate spent a long time querying the allegations.
"What I want is a proper investigation, our country is crime infested and proper investigation must be a necessity. Many police officers refuse to take notes and get the full details of each case they are investigating."
RM Glen Brown then said too many questions were surrounding the case and the investigating officer could not fully explain what happened when the three men were accosted.
The men were granted bail in the sum of $50,000 with own surety and are to reappear on August 21.
