Was it the liquor, the music or the company that these two were enjoying so much?
Midnight Lights put on by New Entertainment was among the many parties scheduled for last Saturday night.
The party, which was staged at the Cable and Wireless Golf Academy in New Kingston, had all the right elements for being a good party - including liquor and good music. However, the turnout was far from impressive.
When THE STAR team arrived minutes after midnight, only a handful of patrons were seen rocking away to a mixture of '90s hip-hop and dancehall mixes, with DJ Bambino on the turntables.
Inside the venue, several tents were set up, housing different bars, serving mainly mixed drinks, while others were used as lounging areas. By 1 a.m., patrons were still seen strolling inside the huge venue which was still far from being filled to capacity.
The party later kicked into high gear when Renaissance Disco took over, playing songs like, Roll It Gal, One More Wine and a string of tunes for the ladies, which built the momentum for the rest of the night.
At least one person here was feeling the music.
