Long distance dilemma

Dear Pastor,

I was wondering if long distance relationships work. I have been talking to a guy from Jamaica for a few months and he is a good guy. He goes to see my family in the next town to show that he wants me and he's not playing with me. My family likes him a lot but, sometimes, I can't help but wonder what he's up to. My family tells me that he has no time to cheat because he works too hard and anytime he's not working, he's with them. But, my mind can't help but wonder if he is cheating on me. I know sometimes I give him a hard time, but it's only because I love him. Everyone I talk to says I have nothing to worry about and that he's a good guy, who loves me a lot. I just can't shake the feeling that he's doing something.

Pastor, am I wrong to feel this way?

A. N., Ontario, Canada

Dear A. N.,

Some long distance relationships have worked. Why do you worry whether your boyfriend is cheating? Would you like him to accuse you of cheating? I am sure you wouldn't. So, give God thanks that you have found a good man.
