The Portmore police in St Catherine, are investigating the murder of a man who was killed in Old Braeton in the municipality on Tuesday night.

Dead is Dwayne Brown, otherwise called Waynie of Old Braeton.

Reports are that about 8:30 pm, Brown was standing along Gerberia Avenue when he was approached by three men armed with guns. The men opened fire, hitting Brown, who died on the spot.

Up to late yesterday police had neither identified any suspect nor establish a motive for the killing.
