It was a disappointed Wayne Williams that ended his Digicel Rising Stars journey at the result show at the Courtleigh Auditorium, New Kingston, on Friday night.
Of the nine contestants, Wayne and Tiffany Thompson were the two finalists who got the lowest votes, forcing them to compete for their stay.
Before the announcement of the bottom two contestants, all the contestants were smiling, laughing and mocking each other. However, after Wayne found out his possible fate; his disappointment was obvious as he hung his head and was barely willing to speak.

Nadine Sutherland believed that Wayne's performance improved over his previous live performance but she believed Tiffany chose the wrong song. Clyde also believed Wayne's delivery was good but he was not impressed with the dancing.
However, with no favourites, Anthony said, "Wayne performed poorly and Tiffany did not exactly shine, so they deserve to be where they are now."
Despite this, Wayne managed to give a commendable rendition of Usher's You Got It Bad, in which he held some incredibly long notes. Tiffany's voice was crisp as she performed Keyshia Cole's I Remember.
At the end of the performances, Clyde voted for Tiffany saying, "I came here with the intention to vote for Wayne but I am inclined to vote for Tiffany."

Nadine also voted for Tiffany because she 'stepped up her game' but Anthony voted for Wayne.
The remaining eight contestants who await their fate at next Friday's result show are K'Alee, Kahlil, Cameal Davis, Lashana, SLR, Leisha Rose, Tiffany and Secret Melodies.
