Jamaicans surely know how to celebrate. Yesterday after Melaine Walker won gold medal in the 400-metre hurdles in an Olympic record, and Usain Bolt blasted home in 19.30 in the 200-metre to set a new world record, Jamaicans from all walks of life turned out to celebrate. In Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, downtown Kingston, Maxfield Avenue and all across Jamaica people showed their excitement. Our photographers Ian Allen and Norman Grindley were on the spot.
