Dear Pastor,
I am having a problem and I am hoping you can give some advice. I have been married for 14 years now and I have never lived with my husband even though he is living here in Jamaica. We have a good relationship. He takes care of me financially and he is also a good father to his kids, but somehow he doesn't want us to live together as a family. He is living at his mother's house with his brother and sister. His mother is living abroad. I am living at my father's house, but anytime I try to discuss us living together, he puts the question aside. I don't know what the problem is. He says he is happy the way he is living.

Dear T. L.,
Do you really that you have been married for 14 years and your husband and yourself are not living together although both of you are living in Jamaica? How strange!! Now I am wondering if both of you own a house together? Would you have to rent a house? Before you got married, did you discuss where you will live after the marriage?
The only suggestion I could make is that you ask your pastor to talk to your husband and encourage him to live with you. I hope that he will not be unhappy with you for asking your pastor to talk to him.
I will be praying for you.
Pastor
