Strikers need a boost

Portmore Strikers will need to pick themselves up from their disappointing outing in the Sherwin Williams-sponsored Jamaica Football Federation Women's Premier League mid-season final, when they play promoted Reno FC in a league match in Negril this afternoon. Match time is 4 p.m.

Portmore Strikers are in second place on 11 points, two below, leaders Barbican, who are on 13 points. Reno are in third place on 10. Barbican have a bye this week.

In other games, Arnett Gardens welcome Waterhouse at the Anthony Spauldings Sports complex. Maverley entertain Harbour View at the Maverley sports complex.

Last Wednesday, Barbican outscored Portmore Strikers 4-2 with a hat-trick of goals from Chevannese Clarke and a lone strike from Yanique Thompson, to lift the mid-season trophy. Iesha Mowatt and substitute Simone Murray netted for Portmore.
