Adassa Morgan gives her testimony before she is baptised. - george henry
One is never too old to serve the Lord. This is what Adassa Morgan will tell everyone she meets after being baptised at the Sanguinetti New Testament Church of God in Clarendon, recently.
In her late 60s, Adassa decided that she had had enough of what the world offered and it was time for her to surrender fully to her Lord Jesus Christ.
Standing proudly in front of the congregation, on August 17, she said she was serious about serving God, because there is nothing out of Christ that could attract her at this time.
She testified loudly in front of the many witnesses telling them that she thanked God for what He had done for her.
"He said girl, I am ready for you now, and I said yes. In fasting, I was thrown down on the floor and God said, again, girl, I am ready for you now, and I. again, said yes to God," said Morgan.
Before she was immersed, Morgan asked the congregation to pray for her so she would be able to continue serving the Lord for the rest of her life.
This was met with loud applause from the many persons who were happy to know that a senior citizen still saw it fit to follow the Creator.
Morgan was extremely happy after Bishop Barrington DaCosta and Officer Paul Cohen baptised her.
