Iran's rockets create shivers

The Editor, Sir:

It was revealed earlier this year that Iran is celebrating 100 years since oil was discovered in that country.

It is said that oil earns Iran US$7.5 billion monthly, which allows Iranians to live a decent life.

Now Iran has declared that it has launched its own rocket, which is capable of carrying domestically made satellites into orbit which, to them, is a historic achievement.

This declaration seems to have sent shivers up the spines of Iran's foes and those in the nuclear arms race. They believe that this same rocket technology can be used to launch nuclear weapons, which they think Iran may have.

Well, we shall see who is going to cry when it's crying time and who is going to weep when it's weeping time, for nuclear can be good and nuclear can be bad.

Ha, ha, ha, what a big laugh.

I am, etc.,
