Tivoli look to regain form

Previously unbeaten Tivoli High will look to make up for lost ground, when they tackle Tarrant at Jasicera Park, in one of two rescheduled Manning Cup games beginning at 3:30 p.m. today.

In the day's other game, defending Walker Cup champions, Calabar, will have their eyes set on taking over leadership of Group B when they travel to St Mary's College. Earlier this week, Tivoli saw a three-game winning streak come to an end, when they were clipped 3-2 by Spanish Town.

Slip-ups

In a tightly contested Group A match, the loss dropped the west-Kingston team to fourth place. However, they could regain the top spot with a win today, and, so, can't afford any slip-ups against the hosts. Tarrant are, however, yet to win a game or even score a goal thus far this season and would have to see a miraculous change in form to cause the west-Kingston team any serious difficulties.

Despite being held to a draw by last season's semi-finalist, Waterford, earlier this week, Calabar, impressive in early-season play, could surge to the top of the table with a win. In fact, they are expected to do so against a St Mary's team, which, though greatly improved since last season, will be hard pressed to make things difficult for the Red Hills Road team.
