Kingfish hooks a revolver and bulletproof vest

Another illegal weapon is now off the nation's streets following an operation carried out by Operation Kingfish on Wednesday.

Police reports are that about 4 p.m. a police raid was carried out in the community of New Haven, St. Andrew.

During the operation, a police team went to premises on Riverside Drive in the community when the illegal weapon, a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver, was found.

A bulletproof vest was also found at the premises.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
