Two women who were recently charged with breaches of the Child Care and Protection Act will know their fate on November 11.
The women, Karlene Dolson, 38, and Elaine Gordon, also 38, who are from Quarry Hill in St Catherine, were arrested and charged about two weeks ago.
Police reports summarise that on September 29, Gordon filed a missing persons report after she could not locate her 15-year-old daughter.
It is further reported that after filing the report and returning home, residents told Gordon that they last saw her daughter at the home of Dolson, her neighbour.
The police were then alerted and upon visiting the house, Gordon's daughter was said to have been found in a compromising position with Dolson's teenage son.
After subsequent investigations, Dolson was charged with harbouring a juvenile, while Gordon was charged with negligence.
The women appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magis-trate's Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to the offences.
