The popular retro-party series, Heineken Good Times, dubbed 'Get Down on It', made landfall in Margaritaville, Ocho Rios, for the fourth time last Friday night, leaving hundreds of vivacious Good Times fans panting for more.
In staying true to its retro-party vibes, the event provided a spectacular blend of reggae, dancehall, hip hop, soca and disco music drawn from the 80s and 90s.
Dancing to popular hits
From as early as 10 p.m., patrons were out in their numbers dancing to popular hits such as, Tempted To Touch by Beres Hammond, Let's Drink by Percy Sledge and a blend of other past favourites.
The party continued until daybreak and, from the look of things, it was clear that all, or most of the patrons, got their money's worth.
When the party came to a close, THE STAR caught up with Robert Chantrell, one of the men behind the spectacular retro series. He declared the event as yet another Good Times success.
"We have always managed to receive great reception anywhere we go because of the strength of our music. There is something special about the music of that particular era that has managed to differentiate us," he said.
Stay true to its loyal fans
He promised that the event will always stay true to its loyal fans and said: "We are looking to go across the entire island as we try to take the event closer to you."
Good Times is to make its debut in South Florida by the end of this year.
The history of the retro-party series dates back to the Countryside Club in Half-Way Tree some 12 years ago. Since then, it has made its way across a number of parishes including St James, Manchester and Clarendon.
