Whose money is it?

Dear Pastor,

I have a problem. I am 24 years old and have lived with my boyfriend for nearly two years. My only problem with our relationship is that I am the breadwinner. All he does is stay home. This is because when he was 15, he stopped going to school. Why? I don't know but I still don't take that as an excuse for him to be home and not working.

My problem is whenever he wants a dollar and I don't fork it out quickly enough, I can expect to be cursed for being mean. It's like he wants me to lift him to the sky and provide for him.

At times, I don't know what to do. Sometimes, I can't even buy stuff for myself because an argument is going to start about my spending too much. I haven't been out but he is always out with his friends. He tells me that he loves me, yet, as soon as I get home, he turns off his phone.

I need a second opinion.

Dear S.P.,

This man needs to get himself a job and do some classes. He doesn't have any ambition and it is time that you make it clear that enough is enough. You should not be supporting and paying all the bills.

He is out of order to be questioning your spending. You love this man but you should not allow him to use you.

Pastor
