Dear Pastor,
I am a 16-year-old girl who is currently in fifth form. I am really in love with a 23-year-old guy and he really loves me. We have been together for over a year and the first time we started talking about sex was in the eighth month of the relationship.
I have recently decided to give it a try, as this would be my first time. The problem is, every time we make plans to go somewhere, something always comes up.
Do you think that this is a sign that I shouldn't do it or I shouldn't be with him? I am awaiting your fatherly advice.

Dear Concerned,
I cannot encourage you to have sex. I believe a girl your age should try to excel in school. I also believe that this 23-year-old man should not be encouraging you to have sex with him. And I would like to discourage you from meeting with him.
Too many young men take advantage of young girls. Keep out of trouble. Don't get close to this guy.
Pastor
