Margaritaville Montego Bay was filled with excitement, fun and vibes at the Magnum Blue Cap Party last Friday.

The Magnum girls took centre stage from early in the night as they stood in the middle of the dance floor clad in skimpy outfits or dancing with Magnum bottles in hand.

Not only were they a hit with the men who gave them approving stares, but they made many friends among female overseas visitors who were in attendance at the club. The Magnum girls taught the women how to do some of the latest dances and choreographed some moves for the hits which blasted out of the speakers courtesy of Stone Love's Wee Pow and Fire Ras.

When emcee Fancy Cat took the mic, he also took the entertainment up a notch as he called patrons onstage to dance and participate in various contests. Caught up in Obamamania, Fancy Cat had the crowd celebrating the victory of the American president-elect.

It was about 2 a.m. when the 'Energy God', Elephant Man took the stage clad in suspenders, jeans and matching yellow shirt and shoes. The women flocked to the front of the stage, to dance and touch him.

Ele energised the crowd with old and new hits such as Higher Level, Nuh Linga and Gully Creepa. He was joined on stage by two Magnum girls who danced up a storm, but in no time Montegonian dancers Dyema and Marvin stormed the stage and did their thing.

As Ele deejayed Drop Dead Dyema threw herself on the floor and Marvin ran onto the stage and jumped on top of her to do the popular daggerin' move.

Excitement heightened when the 'Blonde Ras' Harry Toddler came onstage, singing Don't Run Een and other hits which had the crowd joining in.

Elephant Man seemed to be nowhere near the end of his stint when huge waves from the sea invaded Margaritaville and brought the show to an early end.
