Hunt for escaped prisoner

The Lacovia police in St Elizabeth are still on the hunt for a prisoner who escaped custody last Tuesday.

Brenton McLeod, 27, a farmer of Burnt Savannah, reportedly escaped custody while at the Lacovia Police Station.

To use the bathroom

Reports are that Mcleod was taken from his cell to use the bathroom about 6:30 p.m.

After an extended period, the bathroom was checked and it was found that McLeod had escaped by cutting away a section of a grill.

He was scheduled to face an identification parade in connection with a robbery with aggravation incident and for illegal possession of a firearm.
