THE EDITOR, Sir:
Spragga Benz's son and Beenie Man's daughter have had terrible experiences in their short lives.
Beenie Man's daughter is about to bring life into this world, while, unfortunately, Spragga's son's life was terminated.
Both seem to be good kids, as expressed by family and friends.
Beenie Man's daughter is in an awkward situation, being a mother at such a tender age, but her father is willing to fully support her. I hope she will not make the same mistake twice.
Being a teenage mother is not the worst experience in life. If she is confident and positive, she can bounce back from this misfortune.
Spragga's son, Carlton,
unfortunaltely was not so lucky.
I hope he is someplace full of joy, with no pain, ageing, disease, loneliness or death.
We know that we will all die. Still, we cannot accept this fact.
As one philosopher puts it: "Death is the cessation of the connection between our mind and our body."
I want to tell both fathers to cheer up.
You must be bitter at times but, God knows your every need. So, look to Him in your time of need.
Beenie and Spragga,
learn from these unwelcome experiences.
I am, etc.,
