This Christmas, they're cooking up a bellyful of laughter at Backyaad - the original comedy yard. And like all the years before, it's still happening on Boxing Day.
The event, which was first held on Boxing Day 2004 as 'Caribbean Christmas Crack-Up' and re-branded last year as 'Christmas Comedy Cook-Up', the yearly stand-up comedy production has certainly gone through a couple of changes in its five-year existence.
For example, three of the shows have been held at the Hilton in New Kingston and one was held at Backyaad on Constant Spring Road.
This year's edition returns to Backyaad, with the producers promising that the change of space will definitely not diminish the accustomed high entertainment value of the show nor compromise its classiness.
