Soul 2 Soul III set for Curphey Place

Stone Love's Winston 'Wee Pow' Powell

Celebrity Promotions known for its successful staging of Black and White Affair over the past 10 years in Houston, Texas will be staging Soul 2 Soul on Tuesday, December 30, at Curphey Place.

The night, which promises to be one of nostalgia, will feature music from the eras of the '50s through to the '90s with a heavy emphasis on rock 'n' roll, R&B and soul.

Charged with providing the right mix of music for what promises to be a romantic and enjoyable night are four top-flight selectors known for their expertise at spinning the right grooves. Wee Pow from Stone Love heads the foursome which features; Gladdy from Wild Bunch, Senor Daley of Klassique and Super Claude of Afrique.

Michael 'Bonnie' Godfrey, head of Classic Promotions points out that he decided to make a switch in the concept of Soul 2 Soul for this its third staging.

The first two were held aboard the Caribbean Queen in a boat ride format, however, according to Bonnie, he thinks his fans would prefer this venue as there are a spate of boat rides lined up for the holidays.
