Marc's haberdashery generator stolen

The Constant Spring police are investigating the circumstances under which a new F.G. Wilson generator was stolen from Marc's, a haberdashery located on Constant Spring Road.

The generator, which requires a crane or forklift to be moved, went missing from the premises about 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 20. In an advertisement published in Monday's STAR, the business announced its intention to reward anyone who is forthcoming with information. A reward of $100,000 is being offered.

Guarded by a security

THE STAR was told that the generator was last seen about 5 p.m.on December 19 at the business, which is guarded by a security company.

Acting deputy superintendent in charge of crime for the St Andrew North Division, Altemorth 'Parro' Campbell, told THE STAR that "intensive investigations" were ongoing and said the police were "questioning a lot of people".

Anyone with information about the stolen generator, model number P16.5E2S, is being asked to contact the Constant Spring police or email the management of Marc's at genreward@gmail.com.
