Two of three men charged with warehouse breaking and larceny appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

The third man, who is to face an identification parade, did not appear.

Shane Armstrong and Ronald McKenzie appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Glen Brown.

The allegations are that the men broke into the warehouse belonging to the complainant and stole a variety of goods valuing $560,000. The men were allegedly seen on camera entering the warehouse and leaving with the items. It is alleged that contact was made with an individual in Majesty Gardens and the goods were returned for a fee of $150,000.

The warehouse was broken into a second time, however, and goods amounting to $800,000 were stolen. All three were arrested and charged.

Armstrong pleaded guilty to the charges on his first appearance while McKenzie said he was innocent and "100 per cent sure" that he was not on the tape.

Armstrong was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment at hard labour. His sentence was suspended for 18 months.

McKenzie was granted $50,000 bail with surety. He is to return to court on March 24.
