Cops suspect robbery in elderly's death

The Mandeville police in Manchester are theorising that a 86-year-old man whose body was found on Waltham Road in the parish was robbed before he was killed.

The body has been identified as that of Herbert Blair of Perth Road in Mandeville.

According to the Constabulary Communication Network, about 6:45 a.m., a passer-by found the body of the pensioner lying on the roadway and alerted the police.

Investigators say the body had multiple stab wounds.

Investigators also say the man's pockets were turned inside out, suggesting that he was robbed.
