Dear Pastor,
I am a 39-year-old Jamaican living in the United States. I have a problem and I need your help. I have been married to a wonderful person for a year now.
We have been together for 13 years. I went to Jamaica on vacation and met my high-school love and it is as if I have fallen in love with him all over again. The truth is, if I had met him before my wedding day, I know that I would not have married my husband.
There is more to say, but I cannot. Please help me.
M., Florida, United States
Dear M.,
Stick with your husband. It is said that 'old fire stick easy to catch'. And that is why when a man or woman meets 'old fire stick', he/she just has to say a word of greetings and run because just a long look can move the heart and get himself/herself into trouble.
So, my dear, run from trouble. If you know that when you saw this man, both of you touched what you should not have touched, don't go back there. And stop communicating with him. I beg you, save your marriage.
Run, sister, run.
Pastor
