Ultimate security for Link-Up

Promoter Lena British

Come April 11, Little Copa in Bull Bay will come alive with the pumping sounds of dancehall heavyweights like Stone Love, Metro Media and Stereo Classic, ready to play alongside disc jocks from London like Hotty Hotty Johnny, Andrew Fresh Kid and Krystal Blue.

Entertainers will also be making cameo performances.

Following last year's unfortunate incident at British Link-Up, event promoter and dancehall socialite Lena British is promising patrons that her event this year would see the tightest security ever. While she stressed that party-goers should come prepared to party till they can't party anymore, "there will be absolutely no weapons, no licensed firearms, no knives, nothing at all allowed to come into the venue", Lena said.

The event, which will be staged for the 14th year, has been re-branded the 'Ultimate Link-Up', and Lena says: "We're going back to basics."

Admission is $1,500.
