Cops need help to solve woman's death

Investigators from the St Catherine South police are asking for help as they probe the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman who was a former government worker.

The body of Eleisia Campbell, 43, of Three North, Greater Portmore, St Catherine, was found earlier this week in Caymanas Bay.

The police say she was a former administrative assistant to the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Water and Housing.

According to the police, Campbell was last seen alive on Monday, when she left home to conduct some business. She never returned, so a report was made to the police and the following day information was received that the body of a woman was seen in a cane field in Caymanas Bay.

The body had several stab wounds. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigations.
