Stage name: Razz and Biggy

Real names: Sean Cusley and Richard McGrath

STAR: How did you guys get started?

Biggy: Well, it was like we used to go school together and we always had an interest in music. Around fourth-form at Kingston College we had a likkle sound called Uptempo and when we left school we were still interested in music. It was when we went to UTech that Razz and Biggy really started. That was in 2001, and we just kept growing from strength, to strength but we were friends from 'bout 1992.

STAR: What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

Biggy: The greatest challenge is to continue growing and to continue to keep our focus. Our greatest challenge is always to take it to the next level.

STAR : What have you been up to lately?

Biggy: Lately we've been doing a couple of shows overseas but still trying to stay current in Jamaica, so you can see us every Thursday at Bembe. We have play-outs in town and country. We'll be at Death Before Dishonour in Montego Bay this Easter Monday. We have shows coming up in Canada, England and Miami, and we recently went to Atlanta as well.

STAR: Do you look up to any other sounds?

Biggy: Currently Firelinks, and like Stone Love, Renaissance and Tony Matterhorn who are all established.

STAR: Do you look up to any artistes and why?

Biggy: The artistes include like Elephant Man, because of his work ethic. He's always working. So too Busy and Serani. Also artistes like Assassin and Mavado.

STAR: Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career right now?

Biggy: Well, I wouldn't say happy, because we're always looking to get better, to turn our sound in a positive direction and always to be better.

STAR: Do you have any advice for other sounds coming up?

Biggy: In music just try to do your best all the time and you must have a love for what you do cause it's not a bed of roses.

STAR: Where do you see your career in the future?

Biggy: I see myself a play music on an international level; to see Razz and Biggy on the mainstream international market. To be on big radio stations in foreign playing is a dream.
