Singer Sophia Brown has released her debut album The Spotlight.

Brown, who is hopeful about the success of her album, said: "This is my debut album, I've put my heart and soul into it and I'm hoping the world will embrace it and can relate."

The Spotlight features 14 tracks which include Love You Pure, Like A Rose and Brown's latest single, Weak To You, for which a video will be released shortly. The album was produced by Brown under her Music Mecka Record Label alongside noted friend and co-producer Syl Gordon of Cell Block Records.

Other singles on the album include the titled track Spotlight, Thinking Of You, Fearless and the dancehall-flavoured Female Thing,which features the Money O diva Macka Diamond. Singer Junior Kelly also makes an appearance under The Spotlight with Brown on their duet, Precious.
