Dancehall singer Clive 'Timmi' Burrell, who is rapidly emerging as a popular artiste in western Jamaica, is set to make his debut on this year's staging of Western Consciousness.

Western Consciousness is one of the top events held annually in western Jamaica. This year will mark the 21st staging of the event, which will be held at Paradise Park, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, on Saturday, April 25.

Timmi Burrell is very pleased that he has been chosen by promoter Worrell King to be a part of such a high-quality event. He also believes that being selected to perform on this year's Western Consciousness is a testament to his talent and hard work.

"In the last 12 months or so, since my name change and re-emergence on the music scene in western Jamaica, I have been working very hard. I have been doing a lot of shows and recordings. I know Mr King has seen me on several shows and is impressed with my work, so that is why I am on his show this year. Therefore, I'm going to continue the trend and deliver a good performance on Western Consciousness," Burrell said.

The line-up for Western Consciousness also includes Capleton, Ras Moses (Beenie Man), Jah Cure, Errol Dunkley, Romain Virgo, Konshens, Hero, I-Octane, LUST, Terry Linen, Ernie Smith, Half Pint, Kenyatta Hill, Luciano, King Sound, Johnny Clarke, Leroy Gibbon, Admiral Tibet, Natural Black and Gransonn.
