DID SON MOLEST MOM? - Residents beat, burn man after alleged sex assault
Rasbert Turner, Star Writer

Residents of a St Catherine community are pleading for the removal of a young man who has been accused of sexually molesting his mother.

Although the alleged sexual offence occurred four months ago, it is still fresh in the memory of the residents and two days ago the accused man was attacked, beaten and suffered burns to his body. He had to be taken to the hospital by other persons.

When THE STAR visited the community several irate residents accused him of performing the nasty attack on his mother which still haunts them.

''The man just come nasty up the place wid him sinful act, so we need to sort him out for his wickedness," a male resident alleged.

They claim that he has brought down damnation on the community and what has made it even worst is that he has a son in a boys' home after he too was accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old boy from the community.

When THE STAR contacted the Spanish Town Police an officer said that they were aware of the report of the sexual attack on the mother. A representative from the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse also said that they are aware of the incident but would not elaborate on the allegations.
